Mobile VR in the spotlight at LSG webinar

Date:

The arrival of mobile virtual reality (VR) for workplace learning and its value to business is the subject of a webinar for L&D professionals this month (March).

The online event is being hosted by The Learning and Skills Group (LSG) and presented by Kate Nicholls, award-winning Head of Innovation at learning provider, Sponge.

It’s here! Mobile VR for workplace learning takes place on Thursday, March 23 between 10.00 and 11.00am (GMT).

People attending the webinar will find out how mobile VR offers a new way to help people learn and perform better. They will explore its potential business uses and how to align the technology with key organisational challenges.

Kate Nicholls has spent a year assessing the use of mobile VR and interactive 360° video for learning, resulting in a real world project. She’ll be demonstrating the case study as part of the session.

"The emergence of VR is an exciting development but we’ve all be wondering if it will really have any benefit as a learning technology. By developing a real world example, I’ve been able to pinpoint the circumstances to which mobile VR is best suited."
